Size: Nears 4 feet, males are the smaller gender. Color: Individually variable. Capable of considerable metachrosis (voluntary, usually day to night color changes). Ground colors red-orange through orange to brown, occasionally cream to white. Usually a prominent darker dorsal zig-zag pattern. Reproduction: Live-bearing Comments: Once a herpetoculturist favorite, today it is not as commonly seen.
