Thank you Jeff for recognizing one of the best friends, and finest people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Please know, I spent much time with Rico in the weeks preceding his passing. With the exception of worsening headaches, Rico never had a complaint. We talked about shared experiences past & present, we laughed, ate excellent take-out, and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. Rico was at peace with this thing from the beginning. He overcame much adversity in his life, but always saw the glass as half full. The last thing he would want, I can assure you first hand, is for those that loved him to be sad and unhappy. That's not how Rico lived his life. Please have a beer, call a friend, and reflect on some of the many good times had. We are all fortunate for the time we had with Rico, so please celebrate it....for the last thing he would want is some sort of mass mourning. If you can possibly attend the soon-to-be-announced memorial service, please do. There's nothing he would like more than a passel of his friends gathering to enjoy each other's company, re-connect old, and form new friendships, and feel every bit of him in the winds of Signal Mountain.

I purchased my first GTP from Rico about 8 yrs ago. He was accessible and easy to talk to whenever I encountered a need for resources and information on "Lestat."

RIP Rico - see you on the other side
