I needed temp. and humidity measurements for my snake terrarium. I needed a probe that could be exposed to water. I heavily mist my snake every day. I specifically need surface temp. in my tank and then a relative humidity reading. The hygrometer probe didn't last long as it started to rust quickly and soon broke. The temp. probe lasted longer but I question its' accuracy as it starts to rust. I have not been able to find a combo reader with preferably a single probe (so I can place it for surface temp. not ambient) but can be exposed to water.

CONS:
Features dual probes that are partly made of metal. Both begin to rust when exposed to water. This also causes in accuracy of readings.
