I wanted to try the floating turtle log for my eleven year old yellow mud turtle who tends to be more of a bottom walker than a swimmer.
Even with a basking area provided for him with the correct heating and lighting he won't come out of the water during daylight hours. He likes to hide most of the time unless he's hungry.
I've raised him from a hatchling, this is normal behavior for him.
I did have to show him how to get into the log the first time. After he learned to get into it, I was very suprised to find that he does like this floating log very much. He can easily get into it and out of it as he pleases. Since he's had his this he's been using it every day.
A product that will get this turtle moving around in my opinion is a good product.
I can't find any problems with it so far.

None. I honestly cannot find anything wrong with this product.
