Fuck the HSUS. They have no understanding of the true loving nature or behavior of most of these animals. You have no room to talk unless the animals attack you on first sight or due to you abusing them. You're doing this pathetic act for money or due to being a pussy.

HSUS and the DWA in WV cost all but one of the co-sponsors their job in the last election. Now, we're concentrating on the rest of those that voted for it. Thankfully, state Senator Charles Trump has introduced a complete repeal of this law and given what we did in the last election, I suspect it will pass with no problem.

My advice to politicians, you want to keep your job, don't support HSUS DWA proposals. We will fire you if you do. Don't believe me? Ask Mike Manypenny in WV. He's still butt hurt over the door hitting him in the ass.

How exactly did this cost them their jobs? In most gov't jobs, it is an extremely difficult and lengthy process to fire anyone. How did you go about achieving this? There are certainly a few people in power here that need to go.

So what are we supposed to do with all the domestic animals on their list, turn them loose in the wild. Really humane is it to turn loose a bunch of animals whose sole purpose was to live among people and have no inkling of how to defend themselves against other wild animals and human machinery? This is yet another idea thought up by a bunch of PETA members without thinking how releasing domesticated pets into the wild would affect the animals and the ecosystem. We shouldn't let these idiots dictate our laws or fish will be given more protection than our children and will have the ability to vote.

I don't think that just anyone should be able to "own" a pack of wolves or a "pet" tiger but most animals are fine. Cobras should require a special license but in most states a ball python would not even survive in the wild if it were to escape due to the winter cold. And if my parrot cichlids find their way into the local waterway, they stand no chance of survival.
I agree there should be rules in certain circumstances, but they want to take away every right & privilege. Many species would already be extinct if not for the pet trade.

What i love about the USA... is that there is never any middle ground. extreems everywhere but no one can discuss and not" hate each other". I am in agrement that the Human sociey is nuts and just like PETA has no common sence when it comes to Animals. however. im sure if you to reptiles say snakes for instance. a large percentage.... dare i say 50% of animals bought are no longer wanted... let go to die... or not feed etc etc.... who is taking responiblity for this?? it has to be semi regulated and paid for... so you have your right to keep your burmese python... which i support. But shouldnt there be some sort of responsiblity and dont just say personaly freedom, cause its totally B/S there are animals sufering and unwanted.... and not taken care of properly... what do we do about it... thats the real question... and it needs to be discussed from both ends...

sigh... sadly this is never happening its one side or the other...

With personal freedom comes personal responsibility. Unfortunately, too often irresponsible behavior grabs headlines. Anyone who fails to conduct themselves responsibly with respect to their pets should be held accountable. I believe the percentage of irresponsible incidents is far less than your assumption. There are numerous reptile rescues that deserve credit for their hard efforts.

Ryan - #7 - 2015-02-13 09:40 - (Reply)

Yeah... Fuck em' this is what I don't understand we live in the land of the free but idiots like these fuck heads want to take the little bit of freedom we have left to own any animal we want away. I can't stand these idiots it makes me so angry that they want to infringe on my rights. If you guys are reading this FUCK YOU!!!!

I can understand some regulations on your more dangerous reptiles such as cobra, mambas, etc. Yes these reptiles are beautiful but all it takes is one bite and that fat lady is a singing. Not with the animals that you can go buy in your local pet shops, that is stupid. They are watching to many shows on how they can eat a grown man and all that bullshit.
There is such a thing as micro chipping your more dangerous animals. I am sure that we can find ways to meet in the middle with all of this.
