Hurt Toad

Hello everybody I may have an injured toad on my hands. My neighbor is a young boy and he found a toad in his yard and decided to chuck it into the air as hard as he could. Now I have it under my care. First of all how would I find out if he has any broken bones or any other internal injuries. Second of all how would I care for a toad with internal injuries.
