"Ready for breeding now" or "Will be ready to breed next season". Just a play on words I guess. One could always just e-mail the person and have them clarify the specifics before purchase.

:I am growing very tired of seeing people advertise snakes for sale that state "this snake will be ready to breed this coming season". What exactly are they trying to say:

:A) This snake is almost ready but will probably need another year.

:B) This snake is ready to breed this year (2003)

:
:Seeing as we are well into the breeding season......I think that a seller stating "Will be ready to breed this coming season" really means (A).

:Why don't people just say that instead of luring herpers into to dishonest deals. I suppose you could say it's not dishonest but more of a twist on words. Either way I am very sceptic of purchasing snakes from anyone who uses that in their sales pitch.

:What do you guys/gals think and how do you recieve those words in a "for sale" add.

:Off the soap box,
:Russ
