Identify this Northern Alabama snake

You didn't give us much to go on, but due to the fact that you found it under a rock in North Alabama, my first guess would be a Midland Brown Snake (Storeria dekayi wrightorum). A little better description or a photo would help positively ID the snake.

:I found a young snake nestled underneath a rock in our flower garden. It is light brown with dark brown markings along its sides. It has a long pointed and skinny tail. I am no expert at identifying snakes. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be?

:I am new to this site and don't know just yet how to upload pictures. If I find out how to do this I will also post a picture of it. Thanks in advance for your help!
