Hi Shirley.
Burmese brown torts need water, lots of it!
They MUST have a soaking area always available. Something like a plastic plant pot saucer of water to soak in.
Big enough for the tortoise to sit in and enjoy a nice soak/wade. But easy to enter and exit and shallow enough that it can sit comfortably with it's head out of the water.
So if it doesn't have a soaking area, provide one.
Also soaking will help it pass stools.
If it's not going in the water on it's own, soak it. Soak in shallow lukewarm water for around 10 - 20 minutes. The water should only come up to te area where top shell meets bottom shell.
BUT make sure it has a soaking area too, to go in and out of the water at will.
Apart from the canteloupe and mulberry leaves, what are you offering it to eat?
Terry.
