:hello all :) is clean soil a safe substrate for this lil guy? there are plenty of places and live plants to climb on, and i wanted to provide as realistic an environment as possible (the plants are planted in the soil substrate). any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!


It is safe, but it will turn to mud eventually. I keep mine on paper towels for easy cleaning, because they are in quarintine, but it still looks lush. If I were you, I would put a false bottom on the bottom, then soil, plant your plants, then a layer of bed-a-beast, so the frogs wouldn't get muddy. Just a thought.
