Sorry Tom, that was not directed at you or anyone else in particular. It's just that with such a high percentage of Corallus on the market are fresh out of the wild, Corallus keepers should be more worried about Rainforest preservation and stricter control over harvesting tree boas from the wild, and much less concerned over any of us cutting weeds down.

I still haven't come up with any good reasons to use real vine over BioVine, other than saving money. Have you?

No, only because I don't use BioVine and never have...I don't like the way it looks. I mainly use California driftwood, grape wood, wooden dowel, or (rarely) PVC. The price of any of them is never a factor, I use what I think looks best. I use those vines mainly for photo props, but do have one cage set up with them as perches...it's not about the money. Saving money or making money play no part in my hobby.

If using real wood means more work...so be it :)
