Hey Mike,
If you live in San Jose (I'm assuming San Jose, CA), you should take it to the East Bay Vivarium in Berkeley. They'll board him there and get him feeding again for you. They know what they're doing. I live in Berkeley, so I go there all the time, and buy supplies from them. No complaints what so ever. I'm no expert, but I doubt that there is something seriously wrong with your snake, so I'm not sure what a vet could do, though it couldn't hurt. But if you do decide to take it to the EBV, give them a call,(510) 841-1400, before you show up since it's probably a bit of a drive for you, tell them your situation, and ask what time during the day to bring him in. They'll take care of him and assess if he's actually sick and in need of a vet.
