"Natural" tortoise food *PICS*

Some of you may remember last Spring, when we built our outdoor tortoise enclosure. We were trying to figure out what we would plant in it for our sulcatas to eat. Since folks are always asking what they can safely feed a sulcata, I thought I would try to post some pictures for you.

Baby's Tears make an excellent outdoor planting for tortoise food for sulcatas.

This plant is called Hen & Chicks. It is a succulent that is a safe "natural" food for sulcatas.

Hibiscus is a great staple for several plant eating reptiles. Our sulcatas will actually climb into them to get the new leaves. Our Bearded Dragon is also fond of the leaves.
Natural grass browses are also important (and we supplement with Mazuri).
