I don't know if the green means he's going to be a white headed. If I was a betting man I'd put money on it. If you haven't already, I suggest you go down to radio shack with $20 and get a digital thermometer with a external probe. Then you could put the probe on the basking rock and check if it's really 120 fahrenheit. If he isn't getting hot enough to digest he wouldn't have much of a appetite.
