In this book did Hauschild give any reasons for placing it into that genus? I know that Dr. Glenn Shea also considers gerrardii to be a Cyclodomorphus, but I just do not see it that way. However, I am no molecular scientist either. Which leads me to the next question. Has there been any molecular work done on gerrardii that places it into Cyclodomorphus? If not, I personally would still have to agree with Cogger's monotypic genus, Hemisphaeriodon. Thank you for your response.
