Hi all, hope somebody knows something about this. Today I walked into a pet store and saw a frog-eyed gecko, about 5 inches long. A few minutes later I notices a TINY frog-eyed about 1.5 inches long in the same enclosure. No one in the store seemed aware of the existence of the smaller one. But the adult seemed VERY swollen about the belly. I bought her and the baby. Now, I've read that these geckos lay calcareous eggs, but HOW is that possible in the pet store? Does she lay eggs three months apart? What's the story? It LOOKs like she gave live birth to this baby, and still has a few more inside. Will she give birth or lay eggs? Does she need special substrate to lay the eggs in? Anyone familiar with the humidity requirements of these geckos? How do I re-create a moist burrow and a bone-dry surface environment in a vivarium? If you know the answers, e-mail me righ away - meanwhile, I'm watching her very carefully...

Thanks,

Michael S.
