Cheap does not justify cruel!

Besides, if they do kill each other, like most who replied to your post is saying, you could always get a new one. Common snappers are cheap anyway.

I'm guessing you posted this just to provoke the response, so here it is: low cost does not justify cruelty. By that logic, evil kids (of any age) who find it fun to run over animals crossing the road are completely justified, because they paid nothing for their targets / victims. Living things deserve better. IMHO, animals do not have an absolute right to life; they can be killed for food and even sport -- but intelligent beings / humans have a responsibility to act HUMANely. I say this, and if ANYbody takes $$ into account, it's MiserMike.
