::Hi Jess,

::Forgive my ignorance, I have heard of Oxbow but we've never used it. What's in it?

::Thanks,

:::I like Oxbow Critical Care- it is a handfeeding formula for herbivores. You can check it out on the internet look up Oxbow Hay Company. You can buy most of their products on line or at pet stores, but the critical care you *may* have to order/buy from a vet. You mix the stuff with water, and can hand feed through a large bore syringe. It was very helpful getting Gertie (PTS) through some tough spots.

::::Hey Justin,

::::Kisha's suggestion is fine. I personally wouldn't go with the pedialite myself. Otherwise Pothos, major dark leafy greens (Not Spinach of course, -Sorry POPEYE!) Green beans, yellow squash,etc. If you are ever in a force-feed situation with a PTS with the classic Tresplod hip sign, Let me know and I can advise. Otherwise, continue with routine vet checks as a backup.

::::Thank you for the complements, Justin. I Basically just like helping others.

::::Let me know If I can be of further assistance.

::::Sincerely,
::::Brian

::::Mine is eating greens and most fruits on its own without problems so maybe i just need to wait it out on this better diet. It has a nice round pear shaped belly, but I can still see its pelvic bones. it started to shed for the first time this morning, but a great deal is stuck on its toes. time for some extra humidity and skin peeling session. :)
