Heres some food for thought, I had a trio in a tank which was suppose to be 1.2, well they all got along fine. They were eating, hanging out together just fine. I then raised the temps in their tanks to promote breeding. And before you knew it, they began breeding voraciously. I witnessed copulation and all was great, but I noticed one day that the male and supposed female were biting each other on the face (typically the male will bite a female to mount her, but not on the face they will usually bite on the females back or back of neck to get a strong hold and then proceed with mating.) Well to make a long story short that supposed female turned out to be a male. What I'm trying to point out is that some males can live in harmony with each other, but introduce a female and all hell breaks loose. Thank god I was there to break up the battle, I've heard that two males fighting over females can be brutal. From what I witnessed, was pretty scary. Hope this helps.

:I am eventually going to put my adult female and my young pair together. They are between 3 and 4 months old. The female came from a breeding group so is used to being around other geckos. I'm afraid she might get used to being alone if I wait too long, but don't want to put them together too soon if she could hurt the younger ones. I held her up next to their tank and she got very alert and hopped over to hang on the outside of their glass right where they were. The babies didn't look at all scared and they just sat there looking at each other. I'm saving for a 70 tall reptile tank that they started carrying at my local shop. It has a sliding screen top to set the heat lamp on and I was going to set up a drip system up there too. It has a hinged front opening door, opens to the side. Not the whole front opens, just the top 2 thirds. The bottom third is solid glass so the substrate will stay in. It will take me anther month or two to save up for it. Do you think I could put all 3 into it when I get it? I know with Beardies it's a huge no no to put diff sizes together but wasn't sure about Cresties. Every time I think of that tank I get butterflies I'm just so excited about it. I want to try live plants and make it really nice. I figure I can fit a good sized colony in there, maybe get some more females. They sell hammocks with built in 'bowls' that I'll use for their fruit so they won't have to go to the bottom to eat. I'll be asking for more set up suggestions once I get it...
