I have not seen in any books that mealworms can not do that to a lizard. I have read that they can, not that they cant. I think that what you are stating is a Theory, not a fact, as you have no scientific evidence stating that the shell of a mealworm cant resist stomach acids. Untill it is scientifically proven, it is a theory.
PS- Everbody back then knew it to be true because it made sense to them, THE EXACT SAME WAY YOU ARE BELIEVING THE MEALWORM IDEA! YOU HAVE NO PROOF THAT IS SCIENTIFIC!


:is an example of a THEORY. THEORIES can be proven wrong, not facts. I just pulled out my Webster's and here is the definition for a fact: "Something that actually exists or has actually occurred; something known by observation or experience to be true or real: a scientific fact."

:Here is the definition for theory: "a plan or scheme existing in the mind only; a speculative or conjectural view of something."

:Hmmmmm, sounds to me like you have a THEORY that doesn't stand up to the FACT. Debate that.
