Here's a funny pic I took last summer.
It was one of those days when the temps were high enough for a leachie to be outside (note it's cold here most of the year).
I put my leachie on the apple tree in the garden and sat under the tree with a good book.
After a little while when he got over the panic of beeing outside he started roaming the tree and did so for many hours. As the sun started to set he settled down on this branch to stay in the sun longer, it was about 24 deg Celcius at that time.
I obsereved him when he started roaming on the thinner branches and he was very funny. When on the thin branches he'd start to wobble from side to side because the branch really couldn't support his weight but still chose to not to turn. He made full use of his prehensile tail and wrapped his hands around the twig.
I had always thought of leachies as clumbsy climbers but that's when he proved me wrong. :o)
