How often do I feed?

:You should cut down to about once every other day. He is being fed way too often, why not just give him veggies when he begs? Over-feeding will lead to shell deformities, kidney problems and severely shorten his life span.

Ohh. I hope I haven't caused him too much damage so far. Once every other day even for a hatchling that young? I've had him for about 6 months and he is 2 inches or less.
He seems to ignore veggies but I'll try some other kinds then.
Assuming once every two days, is about 10 pellets a day about right?
