Glad to hear your turt is recovering from such a horrible incident. How big are your babies? I'm also using a waterfall filter for my baby res, but the hose (with extention) extends to about 1/6" from the bottom of my tank--do you think there's still a risk? How far was the bottom of your filter from the bottom of the tank?
