Hey everyone, I just got a juvinile Hydrodynastes a few days ago and just tried to feed him today. At first I tried a fuzzy mouse. When i first threw it in his cage, he sensed the movement and went over to check it out, but he lost interest as soon as he smelled it up close. Then i tried feeding him some goldfish, which he ate voraciously. After that i tried scenting a fuzzy with fish and put it in with him. He seemed interested, but lost interest again after a while. Any ideas on how to get him eating unscented mice? Should I keep trying to scent them with fish or will he get started on his own eventually?
