:Hi,
:I am going to cross post this in the laws forum as well, but since we have rear fanged, I thought maybe someone out there might be able to help. I have heard two different stories on venomous snakes, one is TN does not issue permits for them period. The other is the ruled this regualtion unconstitutional, and thus leaving TN with no enforceable laws at all right now. Does anyone know one way or another? Thank you.

Not sure about the laws with venomous snakes here in TN, but I'm in Nashville and have a FWC, bought it at a reptile store here and needed no permits or anything like that... As for true venomous snakes (rattlers, cobras, etc.) I'm not sure... would be good to call the TWRA and check, or you could give Robert White at the Aquatic Critter (http://aquaticcritter.com/ I believe) a call, I got my snake from there, he'll know.
