Weird western foxsnakes!!!

Yesterday I had a first. My female Pipestone MN. western foxsnake repeatably tried to eat my male while breeding them. I kept seperating them but then decided to see how far she would go and then when she began to swallow him I seperated them. I have lots of foxsnakes and have bred them for a number of years and have never seen this before. John Meltzer
