:Can you give some specifics as to temps, heating methods, Baytril dosages, temperment, and behavior.

Currently I'm using an oil-filled space heater to heat my herp room. I'm lucky enough to be able to situate it just right so that in conjunction with a fan, a thermostat, and the long cages I'm able to provide a thermal gradient.

Acclimated specimens seem to do well at fairly wide range of temperatures and I do not see a lot of what I would consider to be thermoregulation. However, temps range from the high 80's at the warm end to low 70's at night.

When I get their display cages complete I'm not sure how I'll set them up.

These snakes are aggressive and fast. They will move towards you to strike but their strike-range only slightly above average. I've worked with White-Lipped Pythons and a lot of venomous so I'm used to longer strike ranges. Maybe others will disagree with my about Gonyosoma's strike range.

I handle mine with a snake hook mid-body and hold them by the tail. Even then they can cause problems.

Mine seem more nocturnal than diurnal.

Let me know if you have any further questions.
