Just figured that they'd stress easier if they were both on the one side. I mean, it's a 75 gallon, but they're both over six feet long now... I figure by the fall she'll be ready to breed, she's really got some husk on her. I guess I'll try to put them together in October after a brief cooling and see how it goes.
Has anyone tried mimicking a monsoon season with these guys? I've talked to some local guys here and it seems everyone's "thought" about it and never really done it. The main consensus was to keep them on some wet hemlock or cypress mulch for a couple months, keeping them together for the time, and then see if there's any breeding behaviour.
Any thoughts?
