Glad you like the website.

Most people in Europe still use the conservative name Elaphe, but as the reason for the changes seems very reasonable I think it will only last a few years before most serious breeders and keepers will start changing the name tacks on their terraria. Especially the Pantherophis name should quit fast be accepted by the majority, and we do a lot to strengthen this name on the danish herpetological fora at the moment, so that people get used to it.

:I checked out the link to your website. Very nice. I see you have updated your taxonomy to Utiger's and Helfenberger's redistribution of the Elaphe species. Have any other herp people in Europe begun to adopt this new taxonomy?
