If you're buying yourself blood and olive pythons then I'm sure you're qualified to oversee him caring for whatever you choose. Not that those species are necessarily difficult as you know, but they can have some shedding problems and can be slightly more susceptible to upper respiratory infections etc.

So the only thing I might mention is that you might not leave it to him to get the animal fed every time. All three of those species can be difficult to feed as neonates and often require tease-feeding or other tricks until they are several months old. A good breeder should sell you a feeding animal, but a feeding animal does not mean you won't have to fuss with it.

But I'm sure you already thought of that.

I'll track down some links for breeders of E. prasina and E. frenata. I'm sure I'll stumble across Rhyncophis breeders as well.
