My experience is similar to Marks. I have a single male that has been a streaky feeder since adulthood. He quit eating back at the end of Sept, so he just gets to start his winter siesta a little early. This guy has always preferred smaller sized food items. Mine is somewhat on the nervous side and always is on the go while handled. Another interesting behavior is this guy will occasionally vibrate his tail in the manner of a racer or coachwhip........the whole tail is shaking, not just the tip like the N. American Elaphe.
