Dwight sells out of his black rat snakes each year that I know of. Get on his or other breeders list now if you want any black rat snakes this coming season. Black rat snakes have one of those large ranges and they seem common in alot of states. They may not post "wanted" ads in kingsnake as much as other snakes, but they are very popular from what I can see. I envy alot of these people who lived in the range of the black rat snake and grew up with seeing and collecting them. I live in Bakersfield, CA. No elaphe guttata or elaphe obsoleta listed as native to California. I have a pair of F1 Kentucky black rat snakes and 4 w/c Texas rat snakes in my collection. I'm proud to have and work with them. Go figure. lol.
