About a week ago "OneSexyWookie" requested a pic showing the diff in the two. Here 'tis.
NOTES:
1) the six-month old ghost is about 100 grams and is a pretty nice, non-pinstriped example--nice because the dark rings are relatively light.
2) the anerythristic is a proven-breeder mature female around 600 grams and not a particularly nice anerythristic--she's gone through the typical darkening with age.
3) the pic below shows an adult ghost (rear) with an adult anery (foreground)...the ghost in this instance is a pretty good example of the clean wide rings, but it's one of the early ghosts where the dark rings get very dark as the snake ages. As I've said many times, we've not seen really good ghosts yet. Still, the differences are apparent.
4) the future of ghosts is still ahead: there's one excellent example of a vanishing pattern specimen; imagine ghosts with the various pinstriping and vanishing pattern and even patternless morphs that have appeared on hypos--those WILL appear in ghosts in the future.
5) In the spirit of #4, above: If you've seen a pic of one of the few "super hypos" that has appeared in the last year or so, imagine that transferred to the ghost. Those will truly justify the label "ghost" honduran.
