Tremper Giants??--nothing new, I've seen them before...

Apparantly, Ron Tremper stumbled upon his giants as a random mutation. I was surprised, as I have seen 12" leopard geckos many times in the past. Wild Caught leopard geckos are usually over 10" in length. They have been dwarfed over time through lack of genetic diversity and inbreeding. It doesn't surprise me that there might be a genetic regression like that.
When I first saw one of the "giants," I was sure what had actually happened was someone crossed an albino with a W.C., then inbred the young to het homozygous albinos, that were larger, with a better genome. I wonder why no one has tried this before...
