Hey, i finally found a cal king. I live in Sacramento, California, and i have seen nothing but gopher snakes. I went up to Chico the other day, and looked for hours. But when i was about to give up, i found one. And it wasnt a black and white, but a chocolate. It looks to be female, and very healthy. Except it has some superficial cuts and scrapes. They are very hard to see, but i cleaned them. And it seems to be free of ticks and mites. I'm not sure how old it is, but its around 3'. Also, i fed it a f/t hopper to it. It's active when it doesnt see me, so its doing okay. I will take it to a vet for a checkup soon. Man, that was worth the hours and the trip. Herping is real fun. If you have any suggestions for me on this, please do tell me.
