Did you just leave it on the floor? You'll be able to locate that later by the smell. Pinkies aren't real fast, but they can move...overnight they can go a pretty good distance. I'd say you have a 50/50 chance of finding the snake again, especially a juvenile. They can slip through some unbelievably small cracks and holes. One thing that has worked for me in the past is to put convenient hiding spots (hide boxes, upside down flower pots with an access hole, etc.) in various locations around the house..under beds, in closets, etc. and check them once a day. You might also consider putting one of those rubber door-sweeps at the bottom of the door to the room you keep your snakes in and making sure there are no holes in the walls, windows, etc. to "snake-proof" the room a little. At least that way, if you have an escapee, it keeps the search area down to one room instead of the whole house.


:Last week my larger 02 splendida managed to escape his cage. I left out a pinky in my room and this morning it was gone. Any suggestions on how to find him, I will continue to keep food and water out for him.
