Usually, I dont go for redheads, but that one is very nice indeed...Only in San Diego County have I seen em that red.
I'll email you my favorite jpg that depicts a very happy coachwhip w/ a rather disgruntled bunster. & re your comments as to tame???? Mebbe when maintained at 55 degrees or less...Down here we nickname em...Nasty-cophis for good reason!

:well no, it's not really a new species, but I can't help but wonder how people would react if it was a Dry instead of a Masticophis. After all, they are the longest sp of North Am. colubrid after indigos, and there are some specimens that are perfectly tame, such as the pair I just received. Can't wait to breed them!
