Bug's tail update....

Well, wrapping Bug's tail with Coban has temporarly solved his tail biting problem. Last Saturday we removed the first wrapping, which had been on for a week. The wrapping is well tolerated. No further damage was evident, nor was there any problem with the tail having been wrapped for a week.

It was obvious, however, that he was still biting the wrapped tail, it's simply that the Coban is soft and springy enough to prevent damage. Looks like he might lose the last inch, (severely bitten) which was regrowth from the previous episode 2 years ago.

The real test will be when and if he stops biting the tail, wrapped or not. We can't wrap it forever, and as soon as we don't, it's exposed to his teeth again. Time will tell...
