Phrynosoma modestum

Sono in possesso di un esemlare di Phrynosoma modestum. Volevo sapere se per caso qualcuno sa quante formiche deve mangiare giornalmente per riuscire a digerire (il mio non ha fondo!) e se d'inverno è meglio fargli fare un certo periodo di riposo a 10°C visto che vive in Arizona, Oklahoma, New Messico, Texas e Colorado... Se per caso non fosse necessario, come si può somministrare l'acido formico in mancanza di fromiche!? Io ho pensato di preparare una soluzione di acido formico e iniettarlo nelle camole del miele di cui va ghiotto, ma non so in che dosaggio, che percentuale di soluzione e se l'acido formico chimico possa funzionare ugualmente bene...
