You could. My personal preference would be not to do it as the one thing gopher snakes are normally prided on is keeping them relatively unhybridized. They are not from the same area at all though. Corn snakes (e. g. guttata) are from the south eastern us...gophers(Pituophis cantenifer) are from the western united states. Not quite the same requirements either. Corns need a little higher humidity in the tank IMO. I know I will probably catch flack for this, but it is just my opinion. If you are only breeding these two because you have a corn snake and a gopher, then I would personally not do it as it is unfounded. I would sell the gopher or corn and get one of the same species. You could always get a king to breed with a corn...they normally look better than gophercorns anyway. Dont get mad...just my opinion. Andy
