:Today I put a baby bearded dragon in an aquarium that was next to my p.platyrhinos's aquarium. The HL started to do the push-ups and head bobbing. Could I say that it is defenitly a male and rule out the possability that it's female.

Actually both males and females do the push-ups. It is a way of communicating but I have noticed males and females seem to have different forms of the push-ups. Each species also have different forms of the push-ups. To see if your platyrhinos is a male look directly below the vent, if their are two enlarged scales it is a male. If all the scales are the same it is a female. Male also have buldges in this area also.Jeff
