John,

Sorry I have been away for a while and decided to come back and see what is happening in the Forum. Especially since it is close to hatching time for people's gilas. I can't wait to see this year's babies from everyone.

Here is a recent picture (taken this week) of the 6 tail band gila monster from last year. Not exactly the best picture but you get the idea. As you can see he/she has changed alot, unfortunately taking on more black. It is just less than one year (DOB 11-17-01) and is over 13 inches long (no joke). It appears to be almost always in shed as you can tell in the photo.

Anyway here it is....................

Ugly huh???? LOL
