rankins dragon skin disorder?

:my rankins dragon's skin smells bad, and i think it's because it's old...i saw some of it peeling off today and i put him in the bath and helped him peel some. the weirdness is that it is not drying up or turning white or anything...it is actually gross brown and rubbery--and nice white underneath...i had no idea, i have only had him for a week and a half and haven't seen him molt yet, and he was this strange yellow brown color when i got him...

Your description sounds like a possible fungus infection. Is the caging too humid? You should have a reptile qualified vet check this out.
