Females should be around 1000 grams....but can be slightly smaller. I have a 3+ yr old male that's barely 300 grams, and he loves the women.
They don't require brumation, but DTH temps of 80-84 and NTL of 65-73 will usually stimulate pairs into breeding. A boost in humidity or a good shower once a day won't hurt wither. I cut day hours by about 2 hours toward the end of the day around the middle of Oct. and do this until the middle of Dec., unless I see the female ovulate. There have been successful breeding in everymonth of the year, so it all depends on when you want to cycle them. It's just a little easier to do in the winter. Good luck.
