eggs turning brown and lumpy

I have eggs from my pair of takydromus sexlineatus (long-tailed grass lizards) which have grown in size and after some time have gradually turned brown and have become bumpy. They were in a perlite bed in an enclosed container with sufficient moisture to maintain a mist of water around the container. They were incubated at about 28C or 82F which I have since leaarned may be too high.
I open one of the eggs and it was fertile with a partially developed lizard within.
What may have caused this?
