First, Podarcis sicula is highly terratorial and isn't unknown to kill other lizards. Also 6 hours isn't a very long time. And by no means are you caring for your animals or giving them proper care when you say you'll bring a dead lizard back. Well the lizards you have should live for 8+ years but I think it should be half of that. Alos they have different care and thus it doesn't work to keep them together. If you must keep animals together atleast get pairs of the same animal or animals from the same part of the world with the same requirement. As for your pet store saying whats best and all, they don't. It is just simply wrong to do what you are doing to your animals, it causes stress, and ethically it is wrong to knowingly make your pets suffer.
