I have a breeding pair of standings. I have just recently, almost 4 weeks ago, introduced my female into my male's tank. They have mated, and I have been trying to find info on 1.) how long does it take after the matings for the female to lay eggs, 2.) I've heard contradicting recommendations on which type of vermiculite to use for the egg incubation(fine or coarse) or something totally different, and 3.) I'm paranoid, how will I know if my girl is egg-bound? I have 2 books and neither of them have enough info. I have a feeling she is growing the eggs because her tummy has gotten noticebly fat.
Thanks!
