:My female laid 2 eggs (joined) this past Saturday. I removed them after a few hours of hardening and placed them in a plastic butter bowl half buried in 1 1/2 inch of vermiculite and a little moss. Added a little water for humidity and sealed the container air tight. Placed the container in a 10 gallon tank with a heat lamp heating the inside of the tank at 81-86 degrees F. I have 2 digital thermometers monitoring it and it is fluctuating in this range (81-86 degrees).

:Does this sound like a setup that would work? Should the eggs be in an air-tight environment or should I poke some holes in the container? I would like to hook up a cheap thermostat, any suggestions on where to get one and what kind? Has anyone tried this and if so, was it successful?

:I thank you for your replies in advance.
