Schlange "zugelaufen" - bitte um Hilfe

Hallo liebe Schlangenfreunde,

bitte helft mir. Ich wohne in einem Hochhaus und habe vor kurzer Zeit in meiner Wohnung eine Schlange entdeckt und auch eingefangen. Mir geht es zunächst um eine eventuelle Giftigkeit und wie ich das arme Tier möglichst richtig behandle.
Kurze Beschreibung der Schlange - leider nicht fachmännisch aber ich hatte bisher auch mit Schlangen nichts zu tun:

Länge ca. 40 cm, bleistiftdick, Farbe beige/braun mit dunkelbrauner, rombenartiger Musterung.

Das Tier sitzt jetzt in einem kleinen Terrarium unter ein paar Papiertüchern (Haushaltsrolle).

Kann mir jemand mit ein paar Hinweisen helfen bis ich das Tier fachmännisch untergebracht habe? Bitte Mail an meine angegebene Adresse - danke.
