This picture of two Marine Iguanas swimming across a tidal pool was taken from the top of a cliff perhaps 100 feet above them. (the less conspicuous one is approaching the rocks just to the left of center, at top)
We'd gone to the cliff to watch albatrosses: the birds are so big and bulky it's hard for them to get airborn. To do so, they waddle awkwardly to the edge of the cliff, hesitate, and then launch themselves into the air. Once they've taken that leap of faith, they're incredibly graceful. As are the Marine Inguanas, in the water.
